hello everyone!!I feel like i have to write this same post all the time. But I'm sorry I suck. I tend to get so caught up in facebook, twitter, youtube and pinterst that I totally forget I have this blog. It could also be that I am kind of dumb when it comes to computers so half the time I try to make this all cool and it just does not work out for me. I really am going to try to be better and post more often.... I am... really.Some news though. Me and my friend Lauren have chatted about starting a fashion blog. She dresses rather classic and chic and I'm kinda trendy boho chic so I think it would be a good mix! We were thinking about doing outfits of the day, how to style certain pieces, trends, wishlist items and complete drool worthy items we would never have the money for! We are trying to think of a really cute name for it and get everything going so hopefully it will be really soon :)So let me get you caught up! Im still at Sephora. I got a "sorta" promotion to event coordinator. Which is super cool. I pretty much plan a monthly event to bring people in and also for store moral. So fa we have done a Burlesque event and this saturday is our Holiday Masquerade event! Super excited about it! So if you are in the Park Meadows area then stop by from 12-6 !

I heart MAC. I do. I really love there eyeshadows the best so I try to get most of them.... well the ones that I can't live without! So here is what I have so far! There is a mix of mattes and shimmers, more neutral then color but still some color.

Spring 2011 Trend- Orange Lips

Have no fear my beauty lovers, everyone can indeed rock a bright orange lip! Hizzzahhh! Finding the right shade is the sorta kinda tricky part! But I am here to help! Also keep it simple on the eyes. Liner, mascara and thats it really. Unless you are going to a rave. In that case, go crazy!

If you have a darker complexion go for a bright matte! My co- worker Brit did it the other day and I was speechless with how badass she looked! She used the neon orange from Makeup Forever and did a bomb cat eye with the black cream liner, also MUFE. I walked in, looked at her and said "YES" and kept walking! That's how amazing it looked!

My pale sisters, hello. Stick with more of the coral,tangerine ish family. If you want to do bright matte go for it! Who am I to tell you what to wear on your face? But coral/tangerine will look amazing with your skintone is all I'm saying :)

I decided to make a tutorial on this trend to show what colors I would use on myself!

I used Makeup Forver Aqua Lip Liner ( the neon orange one ). Then since I have dry lips I used a gloss over it by Kat Von D called Marg.

So I wanted to do a quick blog post about the things I got from work today!

This guy is from Tokidoki. A brand a honestly think is very tacky. But the little kids seem to love it. This comes in a set of 3 pallete. I only wanted this one and the one below. the other guy is a very ugly bright neon blue and lime green colors. Not my cup of tea. This is a prety bronze set.
-Lion Pappa is a bronze
-Savana is a yellow gold
-Ercolino is an orange copper
-Bulletto is a brown with gold flecks

-Liberty is a green teal metallic

This is a beautiful lipstick from YSL. Its a Rouge Volupte' 8. Very creamy, easy to apply and last for a rather long time! Its a very bright bubblegum pink, kinda reminds me of Mac's Lady Gaga.

Hey guys! Sooooo long time no talk.... I can't believe I forgot about this! July was the last time I was here and now its clearly almost Christmas lol my bad! Well I promise to be better about this... really....promise.... well Im gonna try at least!

So I guess I will fill you in on whats new with me. Still working at Sephora :) We move in to our apartment on New Years Eve!!! YAY!!! So exicted! And really that's it! My life is working....making videos and hanging out. I am really not a crazy wild person. Sorry to disappoint you.

So june has come and go, where has the time gone? Feels like its all going too fast these days. Anyways, here is a list of all my favorite beauty products for this month. Yes I got most of them for free but that doesn't mean Im going to pretend to love them. I really do love these products, why else would I talk about them???? So I decided to run into Target today because I was bored and it's one of my favorite places! I didn't really get much but I have a new favorite top and wanted to share with you!

So this was the top I was wearing. It's from the Miley Cyrus collection she had at Walmart. Miley happens to be one of my not so secret obsessions lol deal with it. Love this top. I wear it allllll the time. I love to wear it with shorts and Uggs, deal with that too. I like to refer to it as my " lumberjack shirt" kind of fitting.
Red top below was only $7.00 and it is a STAPLE top in any wardrobe. They had many many colors and they fit large. So I got a XS. The one I have on is a small FYI. But it is light weight and very flattering I feel.

Next top is my new favorite top of ALL TIME. YES! ALL TIME you guys! It was 16.99 which is kiiiinda expensive to me for a tank top.... What can I say? Im a bargain hunter. But I tried it on and fell in love, I HAD to have it!!! They have about 4 different colors but this is the one I choose! I can not wait to wear it!

Is it not the cutest thing you have ever seen? In loooooooove!!!!

So that is all. I know nothing to exciting, but what can I say? Im not made of money. Also I would rather buy little things often then spend lots of money every once in a blue moon ya know?

Oh! I also got black capri leggings... thats pretty crazy right?

Having blue eyes is one of the best color of eyes to have, in my opinion. I could just be a little biased, but whatever. With blue eyes you can honestly wear whatever eyeshadow color you want! Depending on what color you choose, you gonna have a different affect!

Make your eyes stand out and pop

Orange, brown, yellow, bronze, red, pink, copper, purple and green.

Coordinate with your eyes

Blue, grey, silver, etc

If you think about it from a color wheel whatever your eye color is pick the oppisite color to wear on your eyes to really make the most!

Hey everyone... I don't really know who I'm talking to but hello if you are reading this. I don't know what to type really so I guess I will just start with my favorite subject.... me.... joking.... kinda :)

So my name is Ashley and I am a 20 something girl who is pretty obsessed with all things beauty. I was born in the south and I think that's where the fascination began. Everyone is always in their "War Paint" as my mom liked to say. Hair up to the heavens, although not as bad as women in Texas and going to get milk without your makeup was completely insane ! Maybe I was brainwashed as a child and that's why I'm so in love with it. Whatever the reason may be, I'm not mad. I love beauty. I love how you can make someones day just by showing them a tip that you thought everyone already knew, clearly not the case. Or showing them the difference between a matte foundation and a regular foundation. By the way, fave matte foundation right now is Makeup Forever Mat Velvet Plus. It's wonderful. And I am shade 130, if you care

So on with my story...

Awhile ago I came across some girls on YouTube making videos about doing there makeup. My thought was " what the crap? who would watch this girl put on her makeup?" Actually a lot of people watch her put on her makeup lol. Then I came across hair videos and these videos called hauls. Where they show what they just got at the mall. I was deeply confused but couldn't turn it off. So I set up an account ( AeBeidler ) and started subscribing to people that I enjoyed watching and could learn things from. Months and months passed and I didn't have a job at the time and thought " hey! I should start making videos". So that's what I did. And now I my channel is partnered I have over 1900 subscribers, which is not alot compare to some annoying people that have 250,000 subscribers but whatever lol I have wonderful subbies and I have made great friends through YouTube and I couldn't be happier with my progress.
